PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter with cooperation with other local PM associations (PMSZ, FőVOSZ, TIPIK) will celebrate International Project Management Day for the first time in Hungary on November 6, 2008. In the morning there will be a press conference where high ranking representatives of the government and science are sharing their thoughts of the importance of project management to increase competiveness of Hungary and how PM can support integration of the country to the European Union. In the afternoon is PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter's 10th PM Roundtable conference. The topic that will be discussed from many viewpoints is the PM tools of very big (Giga) projects. There will be program managers of investment projects of Hungarian International Development Agency, DunaCity on establishing a new town in Island Csepel of Duna river, Cultural Capital program of Pécs for 2010 and Hungarian pilot of Vodafone worldwide backoffice revolution.
